Tuning In
Invitation In
What is my body trying to tell me?
Whisper
The body speaks in pulses, in pulls,
in aches that linger,
in tension that never asks for attention
but holds it anyway.
It doesn’t shout —
at least, not at first.
It nudges.
It tightens.
It whispers in temperature, twitch, posture, pause.
You’ve been taught to override.
To perform, endure, explain away.
But this moment?
This is the one where you listen.
Not for logic —
but for language without words.
Tuning in is not decoding a riddle.
It’s remembering a language
you already speak
without sound.
What This Might Be
Tuning in to your body can feel awkward, unfamiliar, or even suspicious — especially if you were taught to silence, ignore, or dismiss it.
But your body doesn’t need you to understand everything.
It just needs you to notice.
That tension in your jaw? That tiredness behind your eyes?
That urge to stretch or to curl inward?
These are messages.
And the more often you listen without trying to fix,
the more clearly your body begins to trust you back.
Questions to Carry
What sensations am I aware of right now — without needing to explain them?
What part of my body feels like it’s asking for something?
What would it mean to believe my body is wise — even if I don’t yet understand it?
Gesture of Care
Body Scan with Curiosity
Close your eyes and slowly scan your attention from your toes to the top of your head.
As you pass each area, ask:
“What do I notice here?”
“What might this part be holding?”
No need to change anything.
Just be with it. Like a quiet witness.
You’re not looking for problems — you’re listening for presence.
Grace
The body never stopped speaking.
You just stopped needing to hear everything all at once.
Now, a small part of you
is tuning in again —
not to fix,
but to feel.
